Parker Hannifin Corporation has purchased Solumina’s Paperless Operations Process Management solution to deploy across its Aerospace Group facilities. Parker joins an elite group of Aerospace and Defense Manufacturers such as Boeing, Sikorsky, Pratt&Whitney, Northrop Grumman, General Dynamics and Lockheed Martin in their quest for continuing shop floor efficiencies.

Solumina is designed to eliminate waste related to traditional paper based processes.  Solumina integrates Electronic Instructions with paperless execution and data-collection with real time connectivity to a robust Quality Management Process.  Solumina’s footprint allows Complex manufacturers to control with one application all tasks ranging from Supplier Source Inspections, Receiving Inspection, Tooling manufacturing and calibration, Fabrication, Assembly and test processes. All data collected at the supplier sites and on the shop floor is integrated into one “As-Built / As-Maintained database for efficient retrieval.

All electronic signatures and approvals are fully FDA, FAA, DOD and DOE compliant and Solumina is RFID/UID enabled.

Solumina is becoming the pre-eminent tool for facilitating Lean-Six Sigma implementations across Complex Manufacturing facilities where efficient access and compilation of data are an essential part of the process.  Solumina is usable in both Push (ERP) and Pull (Kanban) environments as manufacturers deployment strategies dictate.
