The new 3D Animated Slideshows are simpler and clearer for the shop technician, they are also easier to author than text instructions. “If a picture is worth 1,000 words, then animated 3D slideshows are worth 10,000 words,” commented Conrad Leiva, VP of Product Marketing for iBASEt. “Industry tackled new technology for Product Engineering in the past few years and is now ready to focus on modernizing shop floor practices.”

The Solumina Windows and web clients have both received impressive performance enhancements. The web browser client delivers the same User Interface as the Windows client , but contains unparalleled acceleration technology which is appreciated by shop floor personnel.

Solumina G6 has expanded its off-the-shelf Tooling Management functionality which now includes Tooling Asset Management and Tooling Calibration Maintenance. Instructions authoring has been enhanced with the ability to drag and drop multimedia and data collection objects from a palette to the work instructions.
